POWERSOLV Air Compressor Cleaner
The use of various lubricants in rotary screw air compressors can result in the formation of varnish, sludge and carbon. These contaminants can be deposited throughout the system and can cause a number of problems, resulting in excessively high maintenance costs.
Industrial Air Power’s product POWERSOLV can help alleviate the problems caused by varnish, sludge and carbon deposits. POWERSOLV is designed to be used as an additive in the lubricant to remove and suspend these contaminants while the compressor is in operation.
POWERSOLV will clean all parts of the compressor that has oil flowing through it including oil coolers, oil lines, filter housings, oil stop valves, airend housings & rotors.
Using POWERSOLV eliminates the need for disassembling the compressor for cleaning. For maximum benefit, use POWERSOLV prior to each lubricant change.

How To Use POWERSOLV in Rotary Screw & Rotary Vane compressors
Initial clean-out method:
Add one gallon of POWERSOLV to every ten gallons of compressor oil in the unit, first draining enough oil to allow the addition of POWERSOLV. Run the compressor as usual for 40 to 60 hours, allowing the treated oil to disperse and suspend the varnish. To avoid re-depositing the suspended contaminants, drain the oil while warm and replace filters. Refill with fresh oil and take an oil sample after 100 hours.
POWERSOLV is available in 1 gallon bottles, 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
