Air Mufflers

Industrial Air Power’s air mufflers for compressed air systems can provide up to 85% noise reduction and have a 94% flow factor.   

Without pneumatic mufflers, air exhaust from many types of pneumatic-powered equipment can be extremely loud and detrimental to the surrounding environment, causing possible harm to workers.  All our air mufflers feature a unique obstruction-free expansion chamber, with corrosion-resistant aluminum end covers, zinc-plated steel components and a cellulose fiber element.

• An air muffler expertly reduces Exponentially Perceived Noise (EPNdB) without impeding equipment performance. 

• Air mufflers are designed to take explosive air exhaust noise and muffle it with optimized Constant Velocity (CV) flow factor. 

• Air mufflers are recommended for general purpose air exhaust applications for pressures up to 125 psi (8.6 Bar) 

Our air dryer mufflers have a dual-stage filter element that traps particulates for longer element life and less noise. These elements are specifically designed to manage the demanding service problems associated with desiccant regenerative-type air dryers, which often expel air laden with moisture and desiccant dust. 

All air dryer mufflers include a relief valve that is triggered to open if the air outflow becomes obstructed by particulate build-up and will divert air outflow directly to the atmosphere. 

Recommended for pressures up to 175 psi (12 Bar)
